Rendezvous In The Park is an annual 4-day concert event in Moscow, Idaho. The poster concept for that upcoming year is brought to the Junior Design Studio at the University of Idaho as a competition. My design won for the 2011 event.
The concept of this poster is based around a strong centralized focal element that will grab attention from a distance. The high contrast between the dark background and bright warm tones allows for easy reading while capturing the sentiment of a rock concert on a warm summer night.
For additional promotion during events such as the Farmer's Market, the Rendezvous committee requested a small version of the poster for hand-outs. Since they were flexible I turned it into a bookmark.
A t-shirt design was requested for promotional merchandise, so I stuck with the iconic nature of the speaker-flower. This is the mock-up.
The printed shirt and 4-day button pass.
For cost reasons we had to reduce the number of colors we used on the t-shirt.
